Mujeres de Esperanza y Fe: The Sewing Cooperative

Las MujeSr. Rene Weeks and women of the cooperativeres de Esperanza y Fe - Women of Hope and Faith

We are a faith-based comunity founded in 1996 for the spiritual,
educational, and economic empowerment of women who are economically poor. Our Women's Center is located in Colonia Panfilo Natera, a marginal colonia in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. We seek a better future for ourselves and our families through our fundamental values: respect, love, friendship, justice, peace, moral security, and
sisterly love with persons of different cultures.

We are thirty women who work together three days a week and gather on the fourth day to pray and reflect on our lives together in community. We share our joys and our sorrows, our hopes and our challenges with each other in both our work and our prayer.

Mission Statement

All of the products produced in our cooperative are hand-made of Mexican
